ViolkaBeads Is My Therapy

Some time ago, I introduced you to my little jewelry business—remember? It was in this post where I showcased one of my red beaded earrings. Today, I want to share some of the beautiful photos that this talented photographer, Michal Moravec, took at the Dark Place Market on Kamenická Street in Prague, which took place on September 21st of this year. It was my very first market event with Violka, and I even decided to host a small "Make Your Own Bracelet" workshop right at my booth! I can’t describe how much I loved the experience and how truly in my element I felt. Michal really managed to capture it all with such ease and authenticity. I just love these photos; they show that when you start doing what you love, everything finally starts to make sense. 🫀🩹

I've realized that for me, making beaded jewelry is a way to reconnect with my true self. It’s about doing something that draws me in completely. And the best feeling? Seeing someone wear a piece I envisioned as part of their own unique style. Sorting through beads, finding the perfect textures and colors, and matching the unmatched—it’s all therapy for me. All my pieces are unique—I simply don’t make anything twice. I might create something in a similar style, but never exactly the same. The minerals, freshwater pearls, and glass beads I use are each a little different in shape. I start with a vision, and it comes to life through the beaded jewelry. ✨
