Beach Day In Polka Dot Swimsuit

Here in Florida you always recognize who's a tourist and who the residents are. Especially on the beach! When we got to the oceanside (Cocoa Beach) to enjoy some sunshine last weekend, the water was too cold for us but there were many people swimming and enjoying it! Even though there were those little man o' war things on the shore! Eww! (See below in the pictures.) These little sea creatures that look like a harmless blue plastic bag can be actually very painful and rarely also deadly as National Geographic says. They usually float on the water surface but when there are huge waves, you have basically no chance to see them. So be careful please! This is the only thing that I am paranoid about here by the sea. The ocean is just such a huge amount of water, and one big unknown. And as much as I love swimming in the salt water, I'm just quite concerned to go farther than a few meters from the coast lol. I know! I need to work on this since I would love to try surfing one day! I took this paranoid fear after my mom definitely. I remember being mad at her on family vacation beacuse she stayed on the beach while we were having fun in the water. And now I'm the same or maybe worse! Thanks mom!

So yeah, you got it. I just put my feet in the water where it's safe. For a little bit... Grabbed a few sea shells ( I am obsessed with them!) and enjoyed the sun. The sun always gives me energy. Definitely don't forget to use at least 50 SPF when tanning! Here in Florida the sun is extremely strong but you better be safe anywhere you are! They say you should use the sunscreen at least 30 minutes before sunbathing. And then repete everytime you walk out of the water and wash it off. Hope you will enjoy those pics.     Wow! I would have never guessed that those little blue creatures were actually animals-and a deadly kind at that. That's actually pretty frightening and I can see why you would be scared to go in the ocean.
    I used to love being in the ocean and would spend hours swimming in it. But now, I've gotten a little bored and I think I would only do the same thing if I had a friend or two who would join me. And it needs to be warm too :)
    And wow! I am so obsessed with this bathing suit and your fabulous pictures to go along with it. I love the high waist bathing suit trend and definitely want to get a pair this summer! That and a really cool one piece.
