Harajuku Girl ♥

You guys know that I just LOVE Japanese fashion, right?! I will never forget my Hokkaido visit in 2012. Me, as a huge fashion lover, was totally hooked and impressed by the amazing and unique style of each and every single lady walking the street. Incredible! Tokyo is on my bucket list as well as it's Harajuku area, where the REAL fashion comes to life! Wigs, costumes, open minded and never judging people. The crazier you look the biggest success you gather - at least I got this feeling from talking to people who visited. Just check out some of the pictures of Harajuku streetstyle. I want to be a Harajuku Girl!

Kawaii peacoat and nude boots - AmiClubWear, top with dots - Camaïeu, jeans - Marshalls, bag - Big Buddha, watch - Gant, sunnies - GiantVintage, little bow accessories - BornPrettyStore.

I'm still trying quite hard to incorporate my love for japanese style into my daily style but it's pretty difficult here in Florida. It's not even summer and we have 28°C (82F) on average now... so I would just fry or simply die wearing my wigs and kawaii peacoats in such weather. Not that I'm complaining about such awesome weather - (hell NO - I would absolutely NOT EXCHANGE THIS FOR THE SNOW!) but you know what I mean - you still have to function somehow, go to work, go shopping in this weather ... and it might just become a pain after a while. It's something else to live in it on a daily basis and go for vacation to the beach, where you get to enjoy the sea. Orlando is one hour away from the beach which is still great I guess. But people need to think about this right after they get jealous of where other people live. There are always benefits and dark sides in everything. Me personally, I would think you enjoy the blazing hot weather better if you either have a beach house or travel somewhere warm for two weeks.

What I'm always trying to do is to make my favorite and admired style a little bit more wearable for daily purposes such as a meeting, a walk, a date etc. You can still be playful and mix decent with crazy. Ridiculous with fabulous. The real trendy and what's trendy for yourself. It's up to you what end effect you want to give to your look. This outfit is definitely my love for pastel colors and japanese style scaled down by "wearable" and "weather allowed". I hope you enjoy my new photo set and I will catch up with you very soon! xo ♥

    Love the colors of this outfit! Kind of candy-like :) I would love to visit Florida someday! Oh and Canada is pretty freezing in the winter (except the west coast which seems to hAve pretty nice winters) but our summers are actually pretty nice! Where I am it gets pretty hot and sticky actually, especially in July and August and sometime into September- the AC is blasting most of that time!
